It is no surprise to hear that lingerie and swimwear is an exiting topic to be studying, teaching and doing whatever else .. haha !!! And lingerie sewing sounds all the more exiting!!!
That’s what seems to have happened to Erin, who is a self taught sewist and pattern designer. Erin loves to make tutorials and content to inspire people to start sewing their own lingerie. There are very few people I have come across doing this.
Erin started of with designing patterns for wardrobe basics. Her real journey in this field started with her sewing blog, where she documented everything he made.
Once she started on bras and swimwear she never looked back! She was instantly obsessed with the process of designing and creating lingerie and swimwear. Erin spent time to learn as much about designing patterns and sewing kits for lingerie and swimwear.
Eventually her blog turned into a business, because she wanted to make sewing lingerie and swimwear more accessible to home sewists. She designed patterns and provided all the materials that you need to sew on your own!
Her customers are home sewist who are interested in expanding their sewing skills into lingerie and swimwear. People who want to create beautiful undergarments exactly to their taste and comfort.

She sells her patterns and supplies through her online shop which she promote through her social platforms. She started online by blogging everything she made, but now instagram and youtube have taken over as her favourite places to share her love of lingerie sewing and inspire people to do the same.
Her future vision is to design a whole line of lingerie and swimwear patterns that will help women to learn new skills and create their own dream lingerie & swim wardrobes.
She think bras and swimwear can be incredibly empowering for women, especially when they have control over their own choices and preferences.
On the topic of lingerie over the years, she says “I think that lingerie has undergone a huge evolution over time. Now that it’s less and less taboo to talk about women’s underwear, we’re understanding and seeing more of what women actually want, which is amazing. I think the evolution isn’t as much about throwing away what came before, but about including so much more diversity and choice into what is available.”
How rightly said, lingerie has seen a dramatic evolution over the years, building on what already existed.
Lets learn and start sewing 🙂 🙂
