There is nothing more beautiful than a woman confident of her sensuality. This is exactly what Jackie Sasson believes in and she has taken upon herself to create some exquisite lingerie exactly for these women. She believes that sensuality is a result of freedom and poise. Soreil is an attempt to compliment women who are assured of their power
Jackie is a fashion and textile designer from Colombia. Graduated from La Universidad Argentina de la Empresa based in Buenos Aires, where she lived for seven years. As founder of Soreil, Jackie explores her creativity through different techniques of story telling. Sheworks through shapes, prints and colors. She strives to create undergarments that are unique and out of the crowd.
Jackie feels its good to see how free women are now about their underwear trends. She feels nowadays in lingerie people wear what they fell more comfortable about, more than what is the trend. She says, the most important trend in is that lingerie is becoming part of outerwear, and little by little lingerie will no more be conceived as “intimate”.
It’s amazing to see how Jackie works very holistically on her collections. The design, product, photography and art direction all come in sync to create a story.
In Jackie’s words, Soreil as a brand is a tribute to all those women who inspired others not only with their beauty, but most of all, those who influenced others for their talent, style or irreverence. A woman’s sensuality is her own creation, a state of mind dependent on her attitude, charm and self-love. Its really inspiring to see how Jackie uses romantic prints and soft colors to create pieces that are strong and make a statement.
I particularly love the way Jackie treats her packaging. It spells luxury and sensuality all the way. The colors are subtle but put together to create a very loud voice.

The logo for Soreil is a reinvention from the logo of “La Pucelle” the poem by Voltaire inspired by Agnès. That is the story of how this beautiful brand was conceptualized and designed.
Jackie takes a holistic approach to her design philosophy. She works on creating collections under a certain specific concepts, and the concept works as a “trigger”. To create not just the garments, but all that surrounds them, as art direction, photography, campaigns, packaging and special events.
She has an amazing list of powerful and confident women amongst her customers. What she notices in all of her clients is that it doesn’t matter what age or profession or nationality, they have something in common: They are all confident about their selves. She has clients from 20 to more than 50 years old and all of them have an inner power and personality. She has women over 50 as her clients who buy sexy bodysuits because they want to surprise their husband on a trip. Other times, younger girls are buying lingerie just as a gift for themselves.
Variety and neutrality are her key components to her collections. She designs for different shapes and tastes, therefore, having in mind the girl she wants to talk to. In each collection she tries to offer low, mid and high waist briefs, thong, hip-huggers. Same with the bras: strapless, bralettes and underwire.
